Early morning departure from Arusha at 6:00 AM. Drive through the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim and descend to the crater floor. Begin morning game drive through the Lerai Forest area, spotting elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species.
Middag
Picnic lunch near the Ngoitokitok Springs hippo pool. Continue game drive across the crater floor, visiting Lake Magadi for flamingos, searching for black rhino in the open grasslands, and observing lion prides resting near the marsh areas.

Ascend the crater rim in late afternoon. Drive back to Arusha arriving by evening.
