Acacia Farm Lodge sits on an active mixed farm on the escarpment above Karatu, with panoramic views over the Karatu farmlands and the Great Rift. Its position makes it the usual base for a Ngorongoro Crater day: the Loduare gate is roughly twenty minutes away, so a crater morning starts early without a night inside the conservation area, and the lodge sits between Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara on the way to or from the Serengeti. All rooms are of the same standard, offered as single, double, twin, triple and quadruple set-ups, on a full board basis, with an all inclusive option adding laundry and house drinks. The farm itself is part of the stay: a coffee farm tour, a butterfly and birding walk, cycling within the grounds and the swimming pool are included in the rate.
