Tarangire elephant herds and baobabs. Lake Manyara and its forest. A night on the Ngorongoro crater rim and a morning on the floor. A full day in the central Serengeti. A light aircraft out of Seronera straight to the coast. Three nights on the beach at Dongwe.

The same five safari nights and three beach nights as the other option, taken in the other order. The Ngorongoro Crater comes on day four with a night on the rim, and the safari finishes in the Serengeti, flying out from Seronera rather than driving back to Arusha. That saves most of a day and ends the safari on the plains.

Met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven the hour into Arusha. The rest of the day is at leisure to rest after the flight. The guide runs through the route, the parks and what to pack in the vehicle over dinner, so the first morning starts on time rather than with questions.
