Morning
Depart Arusha at 7:00 AM. Drive to Tarangire National Park (2.5 hours). Morning game drive along the Tarangire River watching elephant herds drink and bathe.
Afternoon
Picnic lunch under a baobab tree. Afternoon game drive through the southern circuits spotting giraffe, zebra, lion, and tree-climbing pythons. Visit the swamp for waterbirds.
Evening
Drive to Ngorongoro area for overnight. Dinner and overnight at crater rim lodge.
