Arrival at Kilimanjaro International at whatever hour the international flight lands. Your guide meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board.
Afternoon
The drive into Arusha takes about an hour on tarmac, with Mount Meru ahead of you most of the way. Check in, unpack properly, and sleep off the flight.
Evening
Dinner at the lodge and a short route briefing: what each day holds, what to keep in the day bag, and what time the vehicle leaves in the morning.
