Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full day among ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds. The Tarangire River draws hundreds of elephants, creating one of northern Tanzania's most iconic wildlife spectacles.
Asubuhi
Depart Arusha at 7:00 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park (2.5 hours). Enter the park and begin morning game drive along the Tarangire River, where elephant herds gather to drink and bathe. Spot tree-climbing pythons and leopards in the ancient baobabs.
Mchana
Picnic lunch in the shade of a massive baobab tree. Afternoon game drive through the southern circuits, spotting giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and large herds of buffalo. Visit the swamp areas for waterbird viewing.
Jioni
Exit the park in late afternoon and drive back to Arusha.
