Adventure tented lodge near Tarangire National Park
Burunge Tented Lodge is an adventure-style tented camp located in the Burunge Wildlife Management Area (WMA), a community-managed conservation area adjacent to Tarangire National Park. The lodge offers comfortable tented accommodation in a private concession, providing exclusive game viewing experiences away from the busier areas of the main park. The camp features spacious safari tents raised on wooden platforms, each with en-suite bathrooms, hot water showers, comfortable beds, and private verandas with views of the surrounding bush. The central dining and lounge area serves fresh meals and provides a comfortable space for relaxation. The Burunge WMA supports diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species that move freely between the concession and Tarangire National Park. Burunge Tented Lodge's location in the WMA means guests can enjoy walking safaris and night game drives that are not permitted inside the national park, offering a more diverse safari experience. Wildlife Management Area fees apply and are not included in the accommodation rate.
