Tented lodge près du parc national de Tarangire
Sangaiwe Tented Lodge is a comfortable tented camp located on the edge of Tarangire National Park, offering excellent game viewing in one of Tanzania's most wildlife-rich parks. The lodge is named after the Sangaiwe area, known for its diverse habitats including savannah grasslands, seasonal swamps, and the iconic baobab-dotted landscape that defines the Tarangire ecosystem. The lodge features 20 spacious tented rooms built on raised wooden platforms, each with en-suite bathrooms, hot water showers, comfortable beds, and private verandas with views of the surrounding bush. The central dining and lounge area serves well-prepared meals and provides a comfortable gathering space. An elevated viewing deck offers panoramic views of the landscape and is ideal for spotting wildlife and birdwatching. Tarangire National Park is renowned for its massive elephant herds — often the largest gatherings anywhere in East Africa — as well as tree-climbing pythons, ancient baobabs, and over 550 bird species.
